The Attic Bar & Restaurant

Booked in lastnight for a late lunch today table of 9 to celebrate 2x birthdays, place was nice and empty when we walked in. Served right away and given menus Conner was very attentive and made sure we had what we needed. Food was quick and spot on as well as drinks kids enjoyed their meals. Music Playlist had alot of great bangers that we sang along to. The staff made sure bday cakes came out on time and joined in to sing happy birthday. Thank you for making today special for my mum and daughter will be back again to try other dishes.

Easily one of the best restaurant meals I've ever had! Went due to the reviews about them being safe for Coeliacs and I am so glad I did. Every single part of the meal (stuffed chicken breast) was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the cocktail was gorgeous, and the dessert was divine! The prices were also more than reasonable for what you got. The staff were also so lovely, very friendly and helpful without being overbearing and checking on us constantly. Would recommend The Attic to everyone, and I will definitely be back!

The best steak ever. Me and my friend ordered the sirloin and the scotch fillet medium cooked. The steak was so soft and moist a big thumbs up to the manager who served us the whole time he was amazing. Wednesday night is steak night and so for $30 a steak it was so worth it. Will go back again. The steak is even better than some of the most expensive places that I’ve even gone to. The mushroom sauce was so yum

The old lonestar once upon a time now the above Bar & Restaurant. Good food, excellent service. Waiter was awesome very attentive. Apart from chips being oily everything else was excellent. The staff were awesome. Nice spot away from the riff raff of new lynn. Plenty of parking and ample space to dine. Clean facility. Will be back to celebrate more birthdays here Thank you

Owner was so welcoming and very attentive. Asked about any food allergies or intolerances straight away - one of our party is Coeliac which is why we originally came. They went above and beyond to accomodate. We didn’t feel like any thing was sacrificed because of needing to be no dairy or gluten….could enjoy having a normal restaurant experience. The food was delicious and generous portions too. We will be back!

Went for dinner last night with friends. They had been before and raved about it. Glad we tried it to. Food was fantastic and staff very friendly. Highly recommended the steak, was the best steak I have had for a long time. Would definitely return. Thank you

Parking is a little difficult to get to. Make sure you let the staff know you have parked around the back , as it looks like it is private parking and staff takes your details so you wont get towed. Once inside staff were welcoming, food was a pub style yet adequate.

I've had two great meals here with friends over the last year (which is also how often I've been to Auckland over the last year lol), the Mussels are delicious! This time they had a new dessert on the menu, a Banoffee Pie, and it was stand out good!! 100% will order again if I'm back in Auckland. The staff are fantastic, really attentive and good at what they do, they make you feel like family. And they are so careful with dietary restrictions, we have a few coeliacs in our group and with everything on the menu being available as gluten free, they really enjoyed themselves, and the staff double check about the dietary restrictions to ensure no issues.
